B"H
Long time no see...
Lets get into it...
This image claims that there are three distinct paths—Christianity, Judaism, and a separate "Way" of Yahusha—implying that one must choose between them and that the "Way" stands above the others. While the imagery is powerful, the message distorts both Jewish tradition and the identity of Yeshua as understood through Torah.
1.
Yeshua Was a Pharisaic Jew (Not Separate from Judaism)
Yeshua (not "Yahusha") lived, taught, and practiced as a Pharisaic Jew. His Torah and Halachic worldview aligned with the rabbis of Beit Hillel and drew heavily from Torah sheBe’al Peh (the Oral Law).
To remove him from the framework of Judaism—as this image suggests—is to erase the very context in which he lived and taught. He davened, observed Shabbat, kept kashrut, and upheld the halachic rulings of his time.
2.
The Term "Yahusha" Is a Fabrication
The name “Yahusha” is a recent invention rooted in Sacred Name theology, not in authentic Hebrew linguistics or Second Temple Jewish sources.
It attempts to reconstruct a name that has no basis in ancient manuscripts or Jewish tradition. Yeshua (ישוע) was the common shortened form of Yehoshua, as seen in sources like Nechemiah 8:17 and later Rabbinic literature.
3.
There Is No “Third Path” Outside of Torah and Halacha
The notion that there is a "way" above both Judaism and Christianity creates a false dichotomy.
At Shtiebel on the Hill, we affirm that the true derech (way) is Torah—revealed at Sinai, preserved through the halachic process, and lived within Klal Yisrael. Torah is not up for private reinterpretation, nor is it separated from the people entrusted with it.
Yeshua himself said in Matthew 23:2-3 that the scribes and Pharisees “sit in Moshe’s seat”—a direct affirmation of halachic authority.
To follow Yeshua is to follow Torah and the halachic framework, not to invent a new religion.
4.
The Real Problem with the Image: De-Judaizing Yeshua
This type of imagery de-Judaizes Yeshua, attempting to place him in a neutral or syncretic religious category. But there was never a Torah without Am Yisrael.
At Shtiebel on the Hill,
we affirm
• Torah is the inheritance of Klal Yisrael.
• If you follow Yeshua's teaching that; Yeshua’s teachings must be understood within Rabbinic Judaism, not rebranded into a new "way."
• Halacha, as taught by Moshe and preserved by the sages, remains the derech—not an abstract idea above Judaism or Christianity.
Final Thought:
There’s no need for a third path. There’s only the ancient path: Torat Moshe (the Torah of Moses), walked by Avraham, confirmed at Sinai, lived by Yeshua, and preserved to this day. If someone desires the way of Yeshua, they must return not to a new faith—but to the original one: Torah-observant Judaism through Klal Yisrael.
You notice there is no one on the pictures????
The name Yahusha is a fabrication....No one has ever existed with that name...
